Parklane presents a colorful April show by photographer and painter Silena Wei Chen and photographer Rachel Wichlacz. In “Echoes of Memories” Chen uses photographs and paintings as vehicles to revisit the places and times that have lingered in the artist's memory. It is self-reflection and a collected experiment on the inspirations from traveling to magical places. In “The Secret World of Dahlias” Wichlacz invites viewers to peek inside the secret world of dahlias. Printing on aluminum, Wichlacz uses round photos to playfully reveal every facet of this widely varied flower. This show runs from April 3 - May 5 with a reception held on Saturday, April 13 from 4-6 PM. Artwork is also available at parklanegallery.org. (free shipping option available).
